Montgomery County Reentry Facility The Community Corrections Division of MCDOCR is responsible for maintaining a 144-bed facility geared toward the interim phase of release and reentry. Incarcerated individuals from Montgomery County, State and even Federal prisons are provided with evidence-based transitional services to reduce recidivism and promote a positive lifestyle change. The current population averages around 62 individuals as of September 2023. This facility has been in operation since 1972 and was established to reduce overcrowding in the secure facility and address the mission of public safety by returning residents back into the community as productive community members of Montgomery County.
