Termination of Volunteer Services 5-JCF-7G-10 (Ref 4-JCF-6G-10)
The facility administrator curtails, postpones, or terminates the services of a volunteer or volunteer organization when there is a documented reason for doing so Comment : When volunteer activity threatens the order and security of the program or the safety of the volunteer, such activity should be limited or discontinued until the problem is resolved.

Volunteer Registration 5-JCF-7G-11 (Ref 4-JCF-6G-11)
There is an official registration and identification system for volunteers.
Comment : All volunteers should be registered with the facility or parent agency for insurance purposes, and each volunteer should be issued an identification card. The facility should maintain an identification record for each volunteer that includes a photograph, address, current telephone number, and other relevant information. Protocols : Written policy and procedure; volunteer orientation/registration pro- cedures; identification system.

Volunteer Training 5-JCF-7G-12 (Ref 4-JCF-6G-12)
Volunteers agree in writing to abide by facility policies, particularly those relating to confidentiality and facility security. Comment : Confidentiality of records and of other privileged information is critical to facility security. The facility should require that volunteers respect all facility policies.

Process Indicators : Volunteer records and signed volunteer agreements.
