Conduct of Research

Written policy and procedure govern the conduct of research in the institu- tion, including compliance with professional and scientific ethics and with state and federal guidelines for the use and dissemination of research findings. Comment : Researchers working in the institution should be informed about all policies relating to their research, especially those regarding confidentiality of in- formation. Research results should be available to the warden/superintendent for review and comment before dissemination or publication.
