April B. Buckner (TN) Correctional Administrator for Rehabilitative Services Tennessee Department of Correction

April B. Buckner started with the department as a probation/parole officer in 2004. During her tenure, she worked as an offender workforce development/reentry specialist and was promoted to probation/parole manager. She has been in her current role since 2016. Buckner has a BS Degree in business/organizational leadership from Union University and received an Executive Leadership Certificate from Tennessee State University. She is affiliated with the Public Safety Partnership, and the Shelby County Transitional Model Committee. Buckner has played an integral role in structuring multiple reentry initiatives within the department including the Tennessee Reentry Collaborative, the development and implementation of six Day Reporting Centers, Community Resource Centers, and Transition Centers.

Linda S. Janes (OH) Chief Operating Officer Alvis, Inc.

Linda S. Janes has served in the criminal justice, social service and recovery fields for nearly 35 years. She held several leadership positions within the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Cor - rection (ODRC) and the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS) including chief of the ODRC Bureau of Community Sanctions and assistant director of both ODRC and DYS. In 2017, Janes was tapped to become the managing director of Amethyst, an Alvis recovery program for women with behavioral health needs. In 2018, Janes was promoted to chief program officer of Alvis. She was responsible for all Behavioral Health, Psychiatric and Crisis Care Programming, including Amethyst, Recovery Choices and several spe - cialized programs for survivors of human trafficking. Janes also oversaw the Family and Children’s program. In 2020, Linda was promoted to executive vice president and later chief operating officer. Janes serves on the Board of Trustees and was elected second vice president for the Ohio Justice Alliance for Community Corrections (OJACC). She is a member of the ACA Staff Wellness Committee. Rose Santillan was trained as a quality assurance specialist and provided quality assurance servic - es to Crosspoint for 15 years. She also serves as Crosspoint’s PREA Coordinator. Santillan currently serves as the Quality Assurance Administrator and is a certified Microsoft Network administrator. She holds an AAS in office management and received a bachelor’s degree in business management. She has been employed at Crosspoint for 32 years, 24 of which have been in a managerial capacity. Santillan is a member of ACA, International Community Corrections Association, National Organization of Hispanics in Criminal Justice, Correctional Accreditation Managers Association (CAMA), and served as a board member of the Texas Criminal Justice Association. Santillan serves on ACA’s Delegate Assembly, and she is a member of the ACA Community Corrections Committee, ACAWomen in Corrections Committee and the Equal Rights Committee.
