Ida M. Lewis (OH) Juvenile Parole Board Member, Release Authority Ohio Department of Youth Services

Ida M. Lewis has worked for the Ohio Department of Youth Services, in various capacities such as deputy superintendent of reception, statewide accreditation administrator, policy administrator, and program evaluator since 1994. She received her Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Missis - sippi Valley State University and her Master of Science in administration of justice from Southern Illinois University. Lewis has served 20 years as an auditor for ACA. She served as the appointed Delegate Assembly representative to ACA for CCA for the past three terms. She also serves on some of ACA’s juvenile- oriented committees, helped develop the fourth edition JCF standards and is a chartered VP of the Ohio Correctional Accreditation Association.

LaWanda Long (VA) PREA Coordinator Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice

Since 2018, LaWanda Long has been employed with the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) as the PREA Coordinator, working to ensure that juveniles are safe from sexual abuse and sexual harassment. She has been responsible for the development and implementation of the PREA Program for both the Virginia DJJ and the Virginia Department of Corrections. She has over 20 years of correctional experience serving in various administrative and supervisory positions. She is a Department of Justice (DOJ) certified PREA auditor and an ACA auditor. Long received a M.S. in administration from Central Michigan University. She currently serves as a member of DJJ Equity Work Group.

Diane Good-Collins (NE) Director, 180 Re-entry Assistance Program (180 RAP) Metropolitan Community College

Diane Good-Collins, director of Metropolitan Community College’s 180 RAP, began her formal education while incarcerated at Nebraska Correctional Center for Women. When she was released in 2003, she continued her studies and began her 17-year career at Metropolitan Community College (MCC). Good-Collins has worked in various areas including TRiO, adult education, academic affairs and managed the MCC South Express. She and the 180 RAP team is housed on the largest known reentry center on a college campus in the United States. The team has provided education, training, transition and em - ployment support to over 5,890 incarcerated and reentry individuals in Nebraska since 2015. Good-Collins is a member of the ACA Professional Education Council and the Nebraska Coordinated Re-entry Initiatives Workgroup.
