Hocus POCUS: The Magic of Point of Care Ultrasound [CE|CME] Room 103 C Primary Community of Focus: Adult Corrections|Prisons Overview: This workshop aims to present the uses (and inappropriate uses) of point of care ultrasound in corrections. This includes triage capabilities as well as diagnostic capabilities. Additionally, we will examine actual examinations and how these have assisted with avoiding or expediting outside runs for care. Learning Objectives: • Define the appropriate and inappropriate use of point of care ultrasound in corrections. • Review actual studies performed and how they impacted clinical decision making. • Discuss implementation strategies to begin and maintain a point of care ultrasound program.
