This presentation will include the details of the different programs available, success stories and you will hear from the incarcerated individuals themselves how correctional industries has positively changed their lives. Recognizing staff as central agents in shaping institutional culture, this session highlights the importance of equipping personnel with culturally informed tools and insights to foster equity, improve offender-staff dynamics and support rehabilitative and operational outcomes. As prison populations become more diverse, empowering staff through inclusive assessment practices becomes vital to mitigating systemic
bias, enhancing workplace cohesion and aligning daily practices with human rights and ethical standards.
