A-3B Quality Improvement Changes Strategies: Using the Data to Create Changes Track: Staff Training Room: National Harbor 3 The presentation will address essential quality improvement (QI) strategies implemented in an adult correctional setting. The presenters will examine the use of evidence-based process improvement strategies like the Model for Improvement and the use of Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) cycles, staff training and implementation of QI techniques, workflow analyses and interviewing for creating change. The objective is to provide participants with a comprehensive perspective on how staff can integrate evidence-based QI strategies across programs to foster collaboration to enhance the effectiveness of programs and services. Presenters will show how successfully implementing QI strategies can achieve positive changes across a correctional setting. Learning Objectives: • Identify three essential, evidence-based QI strategies that can be used in a correctional setting for continuous quality improvement efforts.
