We will define psychological responses often experienced following an event and review the associated personal and workplace impact. We will discuss a Debriefing Model and address strategies to mitigate the effects and enhance resiliency. Learning Objectives: • List five common psychological symptoms of trauma. • Identify three strategies that promote resiliency. • Describe, in general terms, the model of critical incident debriefing.
