A-1D Effective Supervision: Changing Lives vs. Checking Boxes Room 126C Track: Staff Training This workshop will discuss how the role of officer/offender rapport is foundational in working with offenders in the community from their first day of supervision until their expiration in order to make them the most successful and productive version of themselves. This workshop will identify strategies to support officers in working with varying populations, and the training that supports them in meeting the needs and responsivity factors of each offender.
