The facility maintains a written record of routine and emergency distribution of restraint equipment Comment : A written record detailing who receives restraint equipment and the nature of the equipment they receive is necessary to establish responsibility and accountability for its use.

Protocols : Written policies and procedure.

Process Indicators : Written record of restraint usage; staff who used the restraint; number of restraints used monthly and by whom.

Transportation of Juveniles 5-JCF-2A-16 (Ref 4-JCF-2A-16)

An annual safety inspection of all vehicles is conducted by qualified individu als and in accordance with state statutes for any vehicle that is owned, leased, or used in the operation of the facility
