Maggie Agerton (FL) Bureau Chief Florida Department of Corrections (FDC)
Maggie Agerton has worked for the FDC since 2008. She is responsible for the clinical, op - erational, and administrative functions for substance use treatment programs and other reentry programming. Agerton began her career in corrections as a volunteer in 1999. During her career, Agerton worked in various positions with both the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Florida De - partment of Corrections including case management, religious services, substance use treatment,
transition and reentry. Agerton earned her master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in criminology from Florida State University in 2001 and 1999. She is an ACA Certified Correctional Executive, a PMI Project Management Professional, a Florida Certified Addictions Professional, and a Florida Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional. Agerton currently serves as an elected member of the ACA Delegate Assembly and a member of the ACA Substance Use Disor - ders and ACA Behavioral Health committees.
Edward Banks (OH) Regional Director Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction
Edward Banks has over 25 years of correctional experience with the Ohio Department of Rehabil - itation and Correction, beginning his career as a correction officer in 1994. Prior to his current role of Ohio’s South Region director, Banks held several corrections’ leadership positions to include security supervisor, correctional major, deputy warden, warden of two separate adult facilities and deputy director of Human Resources. Edward received a Bachelor of Science in correctional administration and management) from Bellevue University. Banks currently serves on ACA’s Policy and Resolution Committee, as well as the professional registry committee. He previously served as president of the Ohio Wardens and Superintendents Association and held office with the North American Association of Wardens and Superintendents.
Catherine Linaweaver (KS) Corrections Specialist Creative Corrections
Catherine Linaweaver has worked for Creative Corrections as a corrections specialist since 2015. She is a retired SES warden from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where she served as warden at two facilities and held several positions of increasing responsibility over more than24 years of government service. She is currently seeking a master’s degree in criminal justice at Wichita State University where she also serves as a graduate teaching assistant and adjunct faculty member. Lin - aweaver currently serves on ACA’s Policies and Resolutions Committee and the International Corrections Committee. She is a member of NAAWS, AWEC, the Executive Board of the Kansas Correctional Association and she currently serves as the program coordinator for NAAWS.
