Grand Prize Winners

Texan takes home Winter Conference grand prize T he 2023 American Correctional Association Winter Conference Exhibit Hall wrapped up with one of the most highly anticipated events of the entire conference ... the Grand Prize Drawing.

Drawing sponsors, VitalCore Health Strategies, Allied Universal, Acorn Vac and Inmate Photos, randomly chose three finalists from the thousands of entrants. Three finalists ascended the stage: Julie Vantiger-Hicks from the Iowa Department of Cor rections, Scott Terry from the Virginia Department of Corrections and Jeffrey Richardson from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. ACA President Tony Parker was tasked with drawing from our three finalists. Our two runners up would walk away with a brand-new Apple iPad while our Grand Prize winner would take home $12,500 in cash. Congratulations to Jeffrey Richardson who took the cash prize back home to Texas and congratula tions to Scott Terry and Julie Vantiger-Hicks and to all the ACA conference goers who participated in a great event.
