This session will describe the process to build the correctional health information exchange and what we hope to accomplish by providing this service. This session introduces micro-interventions—brief, evidence-based strategies delivered in five minutes or less during routine encounters. Drawing from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, participants will learn practical techniques for quick check-ins or crisis interactions. Using case examples and guided discussions, the session will highlight how micro-interventions can be adapted to correctional settings to improve patient interactions, reduce crisis
