Hepatitis C Elimination Program Treatment Evaluation Checklist. Participants can use the training and tools from this session to scale up existing HCV treatment programs. Most patients evaluated with this approach will qualify for the ACA Fast-Track treatment pathway which features fewer labs, and a streamlined history and physical exam, allowing treatment to begin immediately. We also review the AASLD Simplified Treatment Pathway and the Tailored Treatment Pathway. Using this model, all hepatitis C patients are rapidly and accurately directed to appropriate treatment. Learning Objectives: • Understand the goals of an effective screening and evaluation program for hepatitis C patients in justice system settings. • Utilize the ACA Hepatitis C Elimination Program Treatment Evaluation Checklist to
place patients correctly into the appropriate HCV treatment pathway. • Consistently identify HCV patients with compensated and decompensated cirrhosis in order to guide them to appropriate HCV treatment.
