With an increasingly competitive job market, political pressures and tight budgets, filling security vacancies has become a greater challenge in recent years. With these hurdles in mind, Florida has honed their hiring process to close the gap between application and start date from averaging six weeks or more pre-pandemic to applicants starting as quickly as one week from the day they applied.
