Delegate Assembly — Probation or Post-Release Supervision (Juvenile) (1 Position)
Evangeline Ford (GA) Juvenile Probation/Parole Specialist III Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice
Evangeline Ford started her career with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice in 2004 as a juvenile correctional officer I. Since then, Ford has worked in several positions, four years as a juvenile probation/parole specialist I, five years as a juvenile probation/parole specialist II, and is cur rently serving in a supervisor role as a juvenile probation/parole specialist III intake officer. Ford was selected to work in a brand-new juvenile detention center, facilitating a Victim Impact Program with a partnering agency, became a certified sex offender treatment counselor, became a balance and restorative justice facili tator, and becoming certified in the Seven Challenges Substance Abuse program. Ford received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2009. Ford has served on various committees including Child Fatality Committee, Focus Group, Col laborative Committee, C.H.I.N.S. Committee, Student Attendance Council, L.I.P.T. Committee and Juvenile Screenings.
Sammie Roper (GA) Regional Administrator, Northwest Region Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice
Sammie Roper served as a Juvenile Probation Officer with the Whitfield County Juvenile Courts. He is a former member of the Georgia Juvenile Services Association. Roper began his career with DJJ in 1999 as a Juvenile Probation/Parole Specialist II, and he most recently served as the Division of Community Services Director for District 3 (Northwest Region). Additionally, Roper has held other positions, including Juvenile Program Manager for several district offices and Case Expeditor. Roper currently serves as the NW Regional Administrator for the Department of Juvenile Justice. Roper obtained his bache lor’s degree in Public and Social Services from Kennesaw State University and an associate's degree in Liberal Arts from Reinhardt University.

Amanda Gage (TX) Deputy Director, Victim Services Division Texas Department of Criminal Justice
Amanda Gage began her career in criminal justice as a parole officer and was promoted to unit su pervisor. Gage served as the Notification Section Manager and the Programs Section Manager within the Victim Services Division. Prior to working in the Victim Services Division, Gage worked in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division. She went on to be a Special Needs Program Specialist III, and then served as the Electronic Monitoring Program Supervisor III. Currently, Gage serves as the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Victim Services Division, Deputy Director supporting the provision of corrections-based victim services. Gage received her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University.
