B-2E Building Evaluation and Sustainability Capacity in Reentry Programs: Lessons Learned from Second Chance Act Grantees Track: Reentry Room 202-B Prison and jail reentry programs support individuals returning from incarceration in reintegrating to home, family, community and the workforce. Yet many jurisdictions struggle with how to understand (and optimize) the impact of these programs and how to find funds to launch and sustain them. Synthesizing lessons learned from Second Chance Act grantees, with examples from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office’s New Dawn Initiative, this workshop offers solutions to each of these important challenges.
