restitution centers, community work centers, and the Intensive Supervision Program, known as house arrest, and those on earned release supervision, or ERS. The MDOC Community Correction Division strives to strengthen the bond between returning citizens and the community. Agents go above and beyond supervising offenders, they also secure provisions for community-based assistance and services needed by offenders. For example, offenders assist with hosting food drives and keeping their state clean with regular litter details. Community Correction Agents also aid offenders in securing housing, employment and clothing. To many offenders, agents are their mentors. Hence the “start from scratch” creation of the Ohio Department of Youth Services formulary. We’ll share our process of formulary development, outside stakeholder involvement, drug research, and form creation. We’ll also show you how you can utilize Microsoft Teams and Power Automate to create a non-formulary review process when you don’t yet have an electronic health record in place, which includes perpetual storage and tracking capabilities.
