RMC operates a 120-bed licensed hospital that offers diverse treatments such as dialysis, comprehensive cancer treatments, inpatient mental health services and numerous surgeries. The RMC inpatient mental health units provide psychological and psychiatric services and treatment in conjunction and in support of the medical mission behind the fence. Learning Objectives: 1.Participants will be able to explain the provision of complex medical and mental health services in a correctional setting and the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach to care. 2.Participants will be able to define ways to provide compassionate, comprehensive health care in a correctional setting 3.Participants will examine the complex issues related to treating the mentally ill in a hospital setting. 4.Participants will be able to identify the challenges and benefits of providing

hospital level care within the secure perimeter.
