On behalf of our American Correctional Association leadership, host committee and staff, I am pleased to welcome you to the 152 nd Congress of Correction in New Orleans, Louisiana. Meeting in New Orleans, a crossroads of culture and commerce, is a testament to how important it is to meet and share our experiences, lessons and fellowship with corrections professionals from across our country and around the world. I’m pleased this Conference will feature many ways for our attendees to enrich their professional lives and enjoy the company of other corrections professionals. Please don’t miss our dynamic General Session and our other special events featuring speakers who will arm you with crucial information you will need to take on the challenges in the year ahead. In addition, take in as many of the

Our exhibitors will introduce you to the latest in technology and essential services in the world of corrections giving you the tools you’ll need to have the best year ever. Please stop by the exhibit hall and introduce yourself to them all. In addition, one of the truly key elements of ACA’s 152 nd Congress of Correction is the exclusive opportunity to earn critical certifications and gain continuing education units. This is specialized knowledge you cannot get anywhere else and will arm you with the tools you need to be a leader in your field. It is absolutely true: attending an ACA conference jumpstarts your professional career like nothing else.
