WELCOME

I am so pleased to see the 2020 ACA Winter Conference held in beautiful San Diego because it is one of the most unique cities on the West Coast and in the United States. As we enter our 150 th year of championing the cause of corrections and correctional effectiveness, it’s only fitting that we begin this milestone year with a conference that our attendees will never forget. In this wonderful city, we have brought together some of the best and brightest in the corrections field in order to share the latest and most innovative developments in corrections.

You will find that we continue to offer a unique experience with ACA’s dynamic workshops, continuing education credits, state-of-the-art exhibitors, fascinating speakers and networking opportunities that are a must for anyone in our industry. I want to thank our generous host committee for meeting and exceeding all expectations. After participating in my first Congress of Correction as ACA president in Boston last summer, I am just as excited to attend my first Winter Conference as your elected leader. I look forward to serving as president during this historic year and seeing what comes from our association’s members as we begin a new decade.
