The Communications and Publi cations Department of the American Correctional Association invites you to tell your story. It’s easy to do. Just put down some thoughts, it doesn’t have to be a polished nar rative, it doesn’t even have to be complete. Send it on to us at submissions@aca.org. Our staff will help you craft your story into a compelling nar rative which others in the world of corrections can find hope and inspiration. And you may find your name in print. Thanks for all you do to enhance public safety and to do the important work of corrections. We are looking forward to hearing from you. CT

since then but what is staying the same is our need to hear from our readers: the cream of the crop of cor rections professionals. Part of what makes Corrections Today an important read for the cor rections professional is the ability of corrections professionals from every correctional discipline to weigh in on issues or concerns they find in their daily routine. That could be line officers, mental health professionals, nurses or com munity corrections professionals. You may believe you are the only one facing a daunting problem but I would be willing to bet you are not. It’s also incredibly useful for corrections professionals reading this issue of Corrections Today to share with the wider corrections world the solutions they have found to some of the intractable problems facing them. Sharing a solution might be just the spark for hundreds of other corrections professionals to solve a problem they have. In the end, all of us are better off. Not only are we looking for scholarly research articles, we are

lines every day. What stories can you share, what successes have you seen that would serve to give your fellow corrections professionals something to think about and to celebrate.
