The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, member programs, strategic plan of the organization, grant/contract management, professional development, marketing, and stakeholder outreach. The Executive Director provides leadership and policy oversight to the association through ongoing development of the organization’s vision and strategic plan, defines the culture, provides team leadership, and ensures the organization serves the evolving needs of its membership. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors. Qualifications: In addition to evaluating each candidate’s ability, as demonstrated by quality and experience, the following qualifications will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Criminal Justice or closely related field from an accredited college or university • 5+ years of executive-level experience in the association/ nonprofit sector OR 5+ years of executive-level experience in the correctional field • Additional qualifications can be found on the position description here. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $92,200-$138,400. Responsibilities: • Direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of the health service unit assigned staff. • Coordinate the healthcare delivery system with other institutional functions. • Develop healthcare policies and procedures. • Provide administrative support to the medical director. • Provide administrative support for activities of the Medical Audit Committee. • Coordinate the implementation of the Annual In-service Training Program and Quality Improvement program with the assistance of the Director of Nursing as needed. • Coordinate the recruitment and selection of candidates with the Human Resources Department. • Develop and maintain the contract services budget. Requires: • A current CPR/BLS card with demonstrated and cognitive skills. • Management experience as an RN, PA or Nurse Practitioner. • Experience relative to a healthcare setting or an equivalent academic background.
