Heather Pressley (SD) Accreditation and Compliance Manager Pennington County Sheriff’s Office

Heather Pressley is currently the accreditation and compliance manager for both the Pennington County Jail (Adult Local Detention Facility) and Western South Dakota Juvenile Services Center (Juvenile Detention Facility). She has been employed with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office since 2008 and has been the accreditation manager since 2018. In 2019, just after taking on this current title, she went through one ACA audit for the Juvenile Center and two PREA audits for both the Adult Facility and Juvenile Facility. All of the audits were successful and all standards were met or exceeded expectation.

Lisa Williams-McGlone (AL) Special Education Teacher and Case Manager Alabama Department of Youth Services

Lisa Williams-McGlone has worked for the Alabama Department of Youth Services since 2000; prior to this, she was employed in adult corrections. She currently works with juveniles in the Ac - countability Based Sex Offender Program (ABSOP) and is an adjunct instructor for correctional programs through Ashland University. She received her bachelor’s degree and Master of Education from Auburn University. Williams-McGlone was awarded Correctional Education Association’s (CEA) Austin MacCormick Award for Best Practices in Correctional Education and was recognized as a Teacher of the Year. She served on CEA’s Executive Board as secretary and regional director. Williams-McGlone is an auditor for CEA and has completed accreditation reviews for juvenile and adult programs across the country. She has served as a mem - ber of the ACA Delegate Assembly and Juvenile Committee.

Probation or Post-Release Supervision (Adult) (2 Positions)

Cynthia Dennis (IA) Residential Manager Iowa Sixth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services

Cynthia Dennis is a residential manager at the Iowa Sixth Judicial District, Department of Cor - rectional Services. She has been employed with the Department of Correctional Services for 32 years. She manages four adult residential correctional facilities, which include a major-use Federal Bureau of Prisons contract and a women’s gender responsive, evidence-based and trauma-informed residential program that aims to stabilize and empower justice involved women to live crime free lives and maximize their potential. Dennis has held several positions in her tenure including residential officer, pro - bation/parole officer, and probation/parole supervisor. Dennis received her MBA from Mt. Mercy University in 2011. She has served as an appointed Delegate Assembly member in the area of Probation or Post-Release (Adult) for the past two years. She is certified to conduct Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) audits of adult jails, prisons and com - munity confinement facilities.
