John Felts (AR) Chairman Arkansas Parole Board

John Felts has been the chairman of the Arkansas Parole Board since 2011. He previously served as a commissioner on the board from 1998 to 2011. He has been retained and reappointed for the position twice, most recently in 2019. He also serves as a board member on the Arkansas Board of Corrections. Prior to joining the Arkansas Parole Board, he served as the assistant administrator of Parole Services at the Arkansas Department of Correction. In addition to his service to the state of Arkansas and the Parole Board, he worked in banking and as a small business owner. Felts is an active member of ACA, the Association of Paroling Authorities International, and a member of the Arkansas Adult Probation and Parole Asso - ciation. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a B.A. in political science in 1978.

Colette Santa (MA) Parole Board Member Massachusetts Parole Board

Colette Santa is currently a board member of the Massachusetts Parole Board. Prior to the ap - pointment to the Board in 2018, Santa was responsible for ensuring board members were provided with accurate information in order for the Board to make critical release decisions on behalf of the agency and the public. She is also the agencies policy coordinator, as well as the accreditation manager. Previously, she worked within the Massachusetts Department of Correction, as well as the Puerto Rico Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. She received a BA in political science from Seton Hill Univesity, a Juris Doctor from Catholic University P.R. Law School, and a master’s in public administration from Fram - ingham State University. Recently she completed the University of Massachusetts Certificate Program for Substance Abuse Counselor. She is currently a certified ACA auditor.

Timothy Age (FL) Bureau of Corrections Commander Monroe County Sheriff’s Office

Major Timothy Age began his career with Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in 1998 as a deten - tion deputy sheriff, moving up the ranks to captain in charge of all Bureau of Corrections operations in 2009. In 2015, he was promoted to his current position as Commander of the Bureau of Correc - tions. He attends Saint Leo University, working on his B.A. in criminal justice. He is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute, Command Officers Development Course. He serves as President of Cristina’s Courage, Center for Intervention Advocacy and Justice, is a board member of Salvation Army, Key West and is President of Monroe County Stars of Hope which provides financial assistance to first responders in need in Monroe County, Florida. Since 2009, he has served as Audit Committee Chairperson for FLA–PAC, Florida Police Accreditation Coalition. He is an accreditation assessor for Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission.
