Sandra Amoia (NY) Assistant Commissioner for Facility Operations New York State Department of Corrections & Community Supervision

Sandra Amoia began her career in 1982 as a corrections officer with the New York State Depart - ment of Corrections. She worked her way up through the security ranks to her current position as assistant commissioner for facility operations where she oversees security functions in 20 correc - tional facilities. While working, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from the State University College at Buffalo. She also earned dual certification from ACA as a Certified Correctional Manager and Certified Correctional Executive. Amoia is an ACA auditor and an ACA chairperson. She is a member of the North American Association of Wardens and has previously served as an elected member of the Delegate Assembly. Amoia intends to utilize her experience in administration to actively support and further the cause of accredi - tation as a member of the Commission on Accreditation for Corrections.

Robert L. Green (MD) Secretary Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services

Robert L. Green was appointed secretary of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Cor - rectional Services in 2019. In 1985, he began his career as a correctional officer in Maryland. Green has more than 35 years of experience in public safety and corrections, most recently as director of the Montgomery County Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Green is a nationally recog - nized leader in the planning, development and implementation of correctional programs, policies and procedures. He has been a member of, and actively involved with, ACA for over 30 years, conducting his first visiting committee audit in 1989. He is currently serving a term on the ACA Standards Commission and other ACA Committees. He is the former chairman of the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards and a member of the Correctional Leadership Association.

Todd Ishee (NC) Commissioner North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Prisons

Todd Ishee has over 30 years working in and managing adult correctional institutions in Ohio and North Carolina in several positions, including correctional officer and warden. Ishee is an adjunct professor of corrections and criminal justice at Eastern Gateway Community College and holds a de - gree in organizational management. In 2019, Ishee was appointed as North Carolina’s commissioner of prisons, overseeing a system of the state’s 55 adult correctional institutions. Ishee is a 30-year member of ACA and serves on several ACA and CLA committees. He is a Certified Public Manager, has been an ACA Auditor since 2003 and is a member of the NC Governor’s Crime Commission. His awards include the Innovative Lead - ership Award and the Ohio Governor’s Award for Employee Excellence.
