Dianne Tramutola-Lawson (CO) Founder and Chair, Colorado Chapter Citizens United for the Rehabilitation of Errants (CURE)

Dianne Tramutola-Lawson has been the founder and chair of the Colorado Chapter of CURE since 1990. She also chairs the National and International CURE Board of Directors. She received a Bach - elor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in French from the University of Denver. She was appointed to the Colorado Governor’s Advisory Council on Community Corrections in 2007 and has been a mayor-appointed citizen member of the Denver Community Corrections Board for 20 years. Tramutola-Lawson was appointed by the Colorado governor to the seven-member Governor’s Executive Clemen - cy Advisory Board from 2015-2019. Tramutola-Lawson is involved with CCDI (Colorado Criminal Defense Institute); new board member (only non-attorney) Fall of 2018. She is currently a member of the ACA Community Corrections Committee, vice chair of the ACA Resolutions and Policies Advisory Committee, a member of the ACA Probation and Parole Committee, a member of the ACA Ethics Committee and an elected member of the ACA Delegate Assembly. Since 1987, S. Anne Walker has been executive director of the Alston Wilkes Society in South Carolina. She received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Lander University and a master’s degree in education from the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the South Carolina Correctional Association, a past president of the South Carolina Probation and Parole Association and a past president of the Board of Directors of the International Community Corrections Associa - tion. She is also a member of the Association for Women Executives in Corrections. Walker has served as a member of the ACA Board of Governors representing Community Corrections and is a member of the Delegate Assembly. She has served as chair of ACA’s Congress of Corrections Program Committee, the Professional Affiliates Committee, the Com - munity Residential Committee and serves on the Awards Committee. She currently chairs the Credentials Committee and serves on the Constitution and Bylaws Committee. Walker was a 2006 recipient of ACA’s E.R. Cass Correctional Achievement Award. S.
