W hen the American Cor- rectional Association announced its preeminent winter conference would be held 100% virtual from Feb. 3–6, and not hybrid nor in person, ACA’s staff, its leadership, organizers and faithful sponsors seemed to display a myriad of feelings that covered the human spectrum — happy, sad, anxious, con- fident, questioning, fearful, nervous, committed, resolved and more. But like a highly seasoned, cham- pionship team, that is accustomed to winning all the big games, when Saturday, Feb. 3, arrived and things got underway, all of those pre-event feelings melted away and gave rise to one of the most exciting, informa- tive, educational, networking-filled and attention-grabbing conferences ACA has ever produced!
