Get to know ACA’s Membership and Customer Service Department

By Roberta Gibson T he American Correctional team is comprised of Chapter and Affiliate Manager Helena Windsor and me, Roberta Gibson. Together, we have over 60 years of ACA experience. Helena and I first met in 1991 when we both worked in the Finance Department. Over the next several weeks, we will be looking to add a staff member to help better service the needs of our growing membership. It is important for corrections professionals to join ACA to keep up with important issues by reading every issue of Corrections Today, which is full of interesting and in- formative articles. Members receive discounts on publications, e-learning courses and conference registra- tion fees. Active members will also use their votes to elect leaders that will amplify their voices to promote change and educate the public about the dedication and professionalism of corrections employees. In addition to the benefits previ- ously mentioned, in 2019, ACA launched an affinity program that in- cludes discounts on travel products, Association’s (ACA) Mem- bership and Customer Service
