Celebrations Around the Country

MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution

Going All Out in the Nutmeg State At MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield, CT the facility’s Quality of Work Life committee coordinated Correctional Employee Appreciation week events on all 3 shifts each day of the week. Facility administrators, supervisors and staff volunteered to cook, serve and deliver food to the facility’s 700 staff throughout the week. Some of the events included: “Walking Tacos”, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, baked potato bar, ice cream and a cook out.

Celebrating Safely Chocolate chip pancakes hot off the griddle highlight the safe celebration at the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution.
