M any lessons were learned in 2020, such as adjusting to new ways of interacting with others and finding creative ways to accomplish tasks that were once much simpler. ACA has continued to focus on providing ways in which professionals can continue to learn,
grow and excel within their profes- sion. ACA is committed as a leading provider of correctional trainings worldwide to train corrections professionals to ensure and enhance the safety, security, health and well-being of inmates, staff and ad- ministrators for facilities throughout
world. In 2021, ACA is committed and prepared to offer programs such as professional certification, e-learning courses, face-to-face training, virtual trainings, and critical issue webinars to meet training re- quirements and foster career growth. The Corrections Certification Program (CCP) offers professionals an opportunity to achieve a nation- ally recognized certification for their specialized knowledge and skills, enhances the professional image, and shows commitment to the field of corrections. ACA offers certifications for adult and juvenile professionals from line staff to administrations for security and treatment staffs in the following levels: Executive, Man- ager, Supervisor, and Officer. The healthcare certifications include the following levels: Nurse, Nurse/Man- ager, Health Service Administrator, and Correctional Behavioral Health (adult/juvenile, community correc - tions, and behavioral specialty).
