ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF DETENTION FACILITIES, MD A particularly significant and symbolic moment during the National Correctional Officers and Employees Week (NCOEW) celebration was the unveiling of the new Department flag. Designed by one of their own staff members, the flag serves as a powerful visual representation of our Department and may be flown at the Department’s discretion — including at half-staff to honor fallen colleagues.
