E #NCOEW HIGHLIGHTS From heartfelt memorials to vibrant celebrations, organizations partici pating in #NCOEW shared their moving tributes and activities for National Correctional Officer and Employees Week as well as honor ing Peace Officers Memorial Day. F CORRECTIONAL EDUCATION SUPPORT The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education recently released a memorandum titled “Supporting Investments in Correctional Edu cation through Adult, Career, and Technical Education.” It details the current state and efforts to improve correctional education, issues also discussed at the Education in Cor rections Symposium at the ACA 2024 Winter Conference.
