Track: Prisons/ Jails Room 303-A In these tumultuous times, when it seems ethical behavior in politics and government are questioned by the public and the media on a daily basis, it is critical for correctional professionals to stay focused on the mission, goals and principles of their correctional agency and the American Correctional Association’s Code of Ethics. In this workshop, two leading correctional administrators will discuss ethical

issues that can arise when working with elected and appointed officials and how ethical issues affect staff, regardless of their positions within the organization. The panel will share ways to address ethical issues in a professional and positive way.
