D-2D The Singapore Correctional Approach to Evidence-Informed Corrections Track: Prisons Room 202-A This presentation aims to share an integrated model of corrections that articulates the Singapore Prison Service (SPS)’s overall approach to evidence-informed corrections. The presentation will highlight the desired impact of SPS’ correctional efforts, the different levels of change agents involved in these efforts, key actions and underlying principles and the various initiatives that demonstrate how the overall approach is actualized. The presentation will emphasize the importance of the involvement of change agents at multiple levels in the offender’s resistance, by engaging in four key actions. These four key actions form the basis for directing areas for change in SPS to bring about more impactful and sustainable outcomes.
