The S.L.E.P program also assists in bridging

the gap between elderly and youthful inmates, essentially assisting in more harmonious morale amongst all inmates. Learning Objectives: • Highlight the benefits a S.L.E.P has for our older inmate population. • Highlight the expansion of a S.L.E.P to other SCI’s. • Highlight how the PA DOC is advocating for the needs of our ever-growing senior population by providing opportunities for optimal living.
