With more than 25 years of leadership experience in corrections, administration, and quality assurance, this candidate has built a career focused on operational excellence, compliance, accreditation, and organizational development. Their experience spans program management, facilities operations, budgeting, human resources, quality assurance, information systems, and strategic planning within correctional and community-based settings. They have extensive expertise in ACA and PREA compliance, contract management, auditing, and policy implementation, including leading organizations through ACA reaccreditation and PREA recertification processes. Their work has included developing corrective action plans, monitoring regulatory compliance, managing operational audits, supporting staff development initiatives, and collaborating with executive leadership on organizational improvement strategies. A certified ACA Auditor, they have conducted both national and international audits and previously served a two-year term on the ACA Delegate Assembly. Their professional affiliations include the American Correctional Association, International Community Justice Association, Association of Women Executives in Corrections, National Organization of Hispanics in Criminal Justice, and several civic and leadership organizations.
