PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Jennifer is a highly respected corrections professional with nearly 30 years of experience in accreditation, compliance, auditing, and community corrections. For 25 years, she has served as an ACA Audit Chair, conducting audits and providing accreditation consultation for agencies across the United States and internationally. A recognized leader in correctional standards and accreditation, Jennifer has trained more than 3,000 auditors, accreditation managers, and corrections professionals through ACA conferences, association events, and webinars. She is also a certified Ohio Risk Assessment System trainer and regularly collaborates with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction on professional development initiatives. Jennifer serves on the American Correctional Association Standards Committee and has played key roles in advancing accreditation standards, including chairing the committee responsible for the 5th Edition of the Adult Community Residential Services (ACRS) Manual, contributing to the development of ACA Transportation Standards, and helping create International ACRS Standards. In her role with Alvis, Jennifer oversees accreditation and compliance efforts, coordinates external audits, supports program quality initiatives, manages GPS monitoring services, and has led major facility improvement projects, including the implementation of whole-body imaging scanners at residential reentry facilities. Her career reflects a steadfast commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the corrections profession.
