PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Mrs. Pamela Hill is a seasoned public service executive with more than 25 years of distinguished experience serving the State of Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Public Management. Since beginning her career in 1998, Mrs. Hill has demonstrated a sustained commitment to advancing organizational excellence, strengthening leadership effectiveness, and driving innovation across the public sector. She is widely recognized for her ability to align strategy, operations, and workforce performance to achieve meaningful and measurable outcomes. Mrs. Hill currently serves as Assistant Commissioner and Chief of Staff for the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, where she provides strategic leadership and executive oversight in support of the agency’s mission to serve Georgia’s youth and communities. In this role, she advises executive leadership on key agency priorities, leads cross-functional initiatives, and drives operational alignment to strengthen organizational performance and service delivery. In addition to her agency leadership responsibilities, Mrs. Hill serves on the American Correctional Association (ACA) Commission on Accreditation for Corrections and is an active member of the Performance-Based Standards Committee. She has been an elected member of the delegate assembly since 2015. Through these national leadership roles, she contributes to advancing professional standards, accreditation excellence, and best practices within the corrections and juvenile justice fields. Over the course of her career, Mrs. Hill has held progressively responsible leadership positions and has led transformative initiatives focused on operational efficiency, workforce engagement, and organizational culture. Her leadership style is defined by strategic vision, disciplined execution, collaborative partnership, and an unwavering commitment to public service excellence.
