PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Amanda Moon serves as Chief of the Bureau of Operational Compliance for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Since joining ODRC in 1996, she has held a variety of leadership roles in both institutions and central office operations, gaining extensive experience across all security levels and correctional populations. Moon holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Bluffton College and a Master’s in Criminal Justice Administration from Tiffin University. She is an adjunct instructor at Sinclair College, an ACA contract instructor and auditor, and a Certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and Trainer. A strong advocate for professional development, she co-chairs ODRC’s Female Mentoring Program and is actively involved in numerous corrections organizations, leadership initiatives, and community service efforts.
