PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Stephanie Gravning serves as the Correctional Health Authority for the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. She also serves as the chair of the clinical updates committee for the Coalition of Correctional Health Authorities and the Vice Chair of the Healthcare Committee for the American Correctional Association. She was born and raised in North Dakota, graduated from medical school at the University of North Dakota, and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to corrections, she spent 9 years working as a hospitalist in North Dakota. She has been in correctional medicine since 2021.
