PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Marina Cadreche is a licensed psychologist and correctional health executive with more than 26 years of experience leading behavioral health and medical operations in correctional settings. She earned her doctorate in psychology from Albizu University and is licensed in Florida. Dr. Cadreche began her career providing direct mental health services in Tennessee correctional facilities and later held executive leadership positions with the Tennessee Department of Correction, including Director of Behavioral Health Services, Director of Clinical Services, and Assistant Commissioner of Rehabilitative Services. A longtime leader within the American Correctional Association, she serves on the ACA Executive Committee, Board of Governors, and Commission on Accreditation. She is a recognized expert in correctional health, accreditation, and quality improvement and currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert with Falcon Inc., helping agencies strengthen correctional health systems and align practices with evidence-based standards. In 2024, she received the American Board of Correctional Psychology’s “People Helping People” Award.
