PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Sean Hosman has spent almost 30 years working in public safety, alongside the agencies, the administrators, the officers, and the individuals served. In that time, he has founded three companies: Vant4ge, Persevere, and Banyan Labs. Each addresses a different dimension of the same problem: how technology, predictive analytics, and AI can improve public safety and expand opportunities for justice involved individuals. Sean has worked with over thirty states and hundreds of agencies spanning state and local government, prisons, jails, probation and parole, parole boards, sheriff’s offices, and police departments. In each of those relationships, the work drove deeper than any single contract or project. Sean has overhauled assessment and classification systems, restructured supervision policy, redesigned data infrastructure, retrained staff, realigned programming, and in several cases, contributed directly to legislative reform. The results are measurable. Reduced recidivism rates. Reduced incarcerated populations. Hundreds of millions of dollars returned to agency budgets. Systems that function with more consistency, more fairness, more accountability, and safer communities. Sean has served on the Board of the International Community Corrections Association and the Board of the American Probation and Parole Association. Sean holds a Bachelor’s and a Law Degree from Brigham Young University and is a member of the Utah and Colorado bars. He is a very proud and humbled father and grandfather.
