PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Sara Hodges graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. She went on to complete her Master of Professional Studies at Tennessee State University in 2020. She started her career with the State of TN in 2003 with the Child Protective Services Division of the Department of Children’s Services. In 2005 she transferred to the position of Probation/Parole Officer with then Board of Probation and Parole, now Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC). She moved up the ranks to the position of Probation/Parole Manager in 2015 and has served the TDOC as a Correctional Administrator of Rehabilitative Services in the eastern district of TN since 2016. In this role Ms. Hodges provides oversite and assistance to rehabilitative service aspects of three prisons, oversees rehabilitative services staff serving throughout three Day Reporting/Community Resource Centers as well as five Community Supervision districts.
