Brenda J. Boyd, RN, is a licensed Registered Nurse with more than 30 years of healthcare and medical management experience. Her career includes extensive leadership in correctional healthcare, hospital-based critical care, risk assessment, auditing, and quality assurance. Throughout her career, Boyd has served in key leadership roles including Director of Nursing, Health Services Administrator, Statewide Director of Nursing, and Regional Administrator for healthcare providers serving the Tennessee Department of Correction. She is a recipient of the Tennessee Department of Correction Commissioner's Medal of Excellence and remains an active leader within the American Correctional Association as a Healthcare Auditor, Delegate for Health Care, and former Chair of the Nursing Committee.
