PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Mark Foxall is a retired corrections and law enforcement executive who currently serves as Community Service Associate at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Prior to joining academia, he served as Director of the Douglas County Department of Corrections and held leadership positions with the Omaha Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nebraska. Drawing on decades of experience in policing, corrections, and public safety, Dr. Foxall teaches and mentors criminal justice students while leading professional training programs in leadership, behavioral health, bias intervention, use of force, and correctional operations. He remains actively involved in the profession through leadership roles with the American Jail Association, American Correctional Association, and numerous community organizations dedicated to public safety, education, and criminal justice reform.
