PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Amanda Gage serves as the Deputy Director of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Victim Services Division. In her role, Ms. Gage oversees the delivery of statewide corrections-based victim services to include victim notification, crisis hotline, victim offender dialogue, direct services, and training for victim services professionals. Ms. Gage’s administrative leadership began in her career with the Victim Services Division, as the Notification Section Manager and the Programs Section Manager. Prior to working in the Victim Services Division, Ms. Gage worked in the TDCJ Parole Division where she began her career in criminal justice as a parole officer. She advanced in the Parole Division and held the position of Unit Supervisor, Special Needs Offender Program Specialist, and Electronic Monitoring Program Supervisor. Ms. Gage earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University. She is a member of the American Correctional Association and currently serves on the Delegate Assembly as a representative for Crime Victim Organizations.
