PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

I am honored to serve as Deputy Chief of Administrative Services for the Orange County Corrections Department, home to the fourth largest jail system in Florida. Throughout my more than 35-year career in law enforcement and corrections, I have remained committed to leading with a servant’s heart, fostering collaboration, and inspiring others through integrity, accountability, and professional excellence. My public safety experience spans multiple leadership roles serving the Central Florida community, complemented by 11 years of honorable military service in the United States Army Reserves and Florida National Guard. As a lifelong learner, I hold degrees in registered nursing (BSN) and public administration (BS & MPA), along with a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. I am a Florida licensed Registered Nurse, a Certified Correctional Health Professional, and a graduate of several leadership programs, including the National Jail Leadership Command Academy, Florida State University’s Certified Public Manager Program, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Chief Executive Seminar. I humbly seek the opportunity to serve as an ACA Adult Corrections Delegate because I believe meaningful progress in corrections comes through shared knowledge, innovation, and collective wisdom. I am committed to being a strong voice for advancing the profession, advocating for practical solutions, and bringing forward the insights and experiences of correctional professionals dedicated to excellence in adult corrections.
