PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Captain Natasha M. Reese is a corrections professional with more than 30 years of experience in correctional operations, compliance, accreditation, and leadership. She began her career with the Florida Department of Corrections in 1995 and has served with the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department since 1997, advancing through the ranks to her current role as Captain of the Miami-Dade County Boot Camp Program. Throughout her career, Reese has held numerous leadership positions, including Accreditation and Inspections Sergeant, PREA Coordinator, Executive Officer, and Acting Captain of the Compliance, Inspections and Accreditation Bureau. She is a Certified Jail Manager, ACA Certified Auditor, National Jail Leadership Command Academy graduate and mentor, and former DOJ Certified PREA Auditor. Reese holds a master’s degree in Administration of Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree from Barry University. She remains actively involved in several professional corrections and law enforcement organizations.
